He was predeceased by: his father Alvin Jones; and his brother Toby Jones. He is survived by: his close friend Sue Jones Doolin of Trenton, Tennessee; his siblings, Clyde Jones (Margaret) of Van Buren, Arkansas and Star Smith (Tim) of Evansville, Indiana; his nieces and nephews, Daryl Jones (Christina Hernandez) of Jackson, Amanda Wadley (Josh) of Trenton and Brittney Grooms (Josh Armor) of Jackson, Tennessee.; and his granddaughters, Elly Jo Grooms and Lily Lynn Jones. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews; and four great nieces and nephews.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in memory of Edwin to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
