He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wesley James and Clara James (Brown); his significant other Evelyn Kay; and his siblings, Walter, Joyce and Ida Mae.
He is survived by: his daughter Angela James Jones (Keith); his stepdaughters, Charlotte Miles and Sherry Ward (Zeno); his grandchildren, Keith (KJ), Kassidy, Tiesha and Ashley; and his siblings, Johnny Mac, Cora (Janey) and Charles Edward. He is also survived by family members, he is also survived by extended family and many friends.
