He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Riley Dotson and Hattie Jane Hyde Dotson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Frances Seratt Dotson of Trenton, Tennessee; his children, Danny Lamar Dotson (Milissia) of Trenton, Tennessee, Kimberly Dawn Gonzales of Dyersburg and Angela Renee Burkeen (Bobby) of Trenton, Tennessee; and his sister Jean Dove of Virginia Beach. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
