He is survived by: his wife Laura Garner; his sister Phyllis Kimble; his children, Ron Garner (Kathleen), Roger Garner (Grace), David Garner, Stacy Welter (Tim) and Brett Garner (Melissa); and his stepchildren, Tina Balin (Tim) and Billy Taylor (Kathy).
