He is survived by: his wife Betty Darter Balkenende; his daughters, Jackie Connelly (Tom) and Teri Balkenende (Traci); his siblings, Jack Balkenende (Jane), Tom Balkenende (Rhonda), Don Balkenende (Annette), Jane Dutcher (Jerry), Judy Balkenende, Nancy Guthart (Raymond) and Sandy Sanford (Jim); and his grandchild Sanne Balkenende.
