He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Jackson and Ruby Pearl Parson (Smartt); and his brothers, Billy Ray Parson and Jimmy Wayne Parson. He is survived by: his wife Jettie Parson; his children, Doug Parson, Melinda McWilliams, Connie Ruehling, Jenny Marie Owen, Rose Bennett and Deanna Holland; and his grandchildren, Grant, Cody, Brandon, Jasmine, Jody, Brandy Parson, Caitlyn, Abbey Whitworth and Izzy Owen.
