He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron Sweeton and Helen Sweeton. He is survived by: his stepson Cody Layne; his brothers, Marlin Sweeton (Ginger) and Billy Sweeton; and his grandchildren, Hallie, Jacob and Hunter.

As requested per the family, all family and friends are encouraged and required to wear masks due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
