He is survived by: his children, Debra Dove Hill, Junior Dove and Jerry Dove; his grandchildren, Gary Lawson, Brandy Lawson, Brandon Dove, Macon Dove, Roxanne Melton and Lindsey Westerfield; his great grandchildren, Jacob Lawson, Sophia Rose Lawson, Trevor Meeks, Todd Meeks, Grayson Lawson, Kaylee Lawson, Lukus Lawson, Kennedy Melton, Chandler Melton, Kadon Dove, Tryston Dove, Layklon Dove, Emmarie Dove, Weston Dean Dove, Halee Westerfield, MacKenzie Westerfield, Jadon Westerfield, Hadassah Westerfield, Jaxon Westerfield and James Westerfield; and his great great grandchild Darla Mae Lawson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
