He is survived by: his children, Pamela Rich, Joy Sweeton (Jeff) and James D. Layne; his sister Patricia Layne Myers; his grandchildren, Holly Whitman, Blake Rich (Felicia), Ashley Dixson (Jonathan), Andrea Johnson (Trevor), Whitney Savannah Layne and Angelina Layla Cantrell; his great grandchildren, Garrett, Ciara, Braxton, Dawson, Braylon, Colston, Laniey, Moi, Zoe, Jacob, Jayce, Jensen, Jozlyn and Emmalynn Jade; and his close friend Emma Gene Bennett.
