She was predeceased by: her husband H. D. Sanders; her parents, Roy H. Thomas and Ester Elizabeth Thomas; and her siblings, Lucretia Crabtree, Willie Mae Geary, Edith Bryant, Leroy Thomas and Kenneth Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Wayne Sanders (Mary), Glen Rowland Sanders, Kriss Lamay Foster (Bob), Helen Alynn Vannatter (Lowell) and Melissa Ann Snipes (John). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
