He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiley Clinton Meeks and Alma Smartt Meeks; his wife Shirley Ann Wilson Meeks; and his siblings, Clint Meeks, Chet Meeks, Betty Sue O'Neal, Betty Mae Meeks, Lib Crisp, Mary Jo Meeks and Louise Meeks.
He is survived by: his son Nathan Meeks (Charmin); his siblings, Dave Meeks, Dee Meeks, Helen Perry, Nadine Sweeny and Pat Birdwell; his grandchildren, Nathaniel Meeks, Heather King (Dusty) and Brandi Meeks; and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Ethan and Drew. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
