He was predeceased by: his father Hershel Deewitt Curtis; his son Kevin Curtis; his grandchildren, Murphy Nunley and Haley Curtis; and his brother Robert Alan Curtis.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Curtis; his children, Patricia Nunley, Paul Gregory Curtis and Tania Curtis (Martin Layne); his grandchildren, Chasity, Charlie Nunley, Felicia, Tony Bean, Marshall Curtis, Timothy Curtis (Veda), Josh Curtis, Jeremiah Curtis (Felicia) and Brenna Nunley; and his siblings, Ronnie Deewitt Curtis and Nancy Jean Kilgore. He is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren.
