He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiley Clint Meeks and Alma Smartt Meeks. He is survived by: his siblings, Clint, Chet, George Meeks, Pat Birdwell, Betty Sue O'Neal, Betty Mae Meeks, Lib Crisp, Mary Meeks, Louise Meeks, Helen Perry and Nadine Sweeny; his wife Deloris Boyd Meeks; his children, Ronnie D. "Oink" Meeks, Jan Frechette (David), Elaine Cook (Jeff) and Shannah Burnette; and his brother David Meeks (Susie). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cumberland Funeral Home, Inc. (96 Clair St, Tracy City, TN 37387). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at the Plainview Cemetery.
