He was predeceased by: his parents, Pascal Johnson and Edna Nolan Johnson; his granddaughter Shelby Brooke Johnson; and his siblings, Isaac, Homer, Jimmy, Eva Cope and Frankie Dodson.
He is survived by: his wife Edwene Johnson; his sons, Jeffrey David Johnson (Desiree) and Jarrod Donovan Johnson (Tanjala); his grandchildren, Cole Johnson, Kase Johnson, Jordan Johnson, Victoria Johnson and Charity Bean (Zach); his great grandchildren, Bentley Bean and Brynnlee Bean; and his sister Mary Laman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
