She was predeceased by: her father Tom Melton; her husband Garland Parson; her daughter Linda Parson; her siblings, Charlie David Melton, Lorene and Helen Melton; and her nephew Dave Melton.
She is survived by: her daughter Diana Chernicky (Jamey); her grandchildren, Tara Chernicky and Taya Parson; her great grandchildren, Jonathan Chernicky and Sebastian Abeare; her nephews, Tom, Henry, Wayne and Bill Melton; and her niece Ginny Hughes.
