He is survived by: his wife Sharon Shrum; his children, Chuck Shrum (Lindsay), Jacob Thomas, Tracy Parson (Carolyn) and Rhonda Shrum Rector; his siblings, Jerry Shrum, Sue Parson, Marie Miller and Nadene Nolan; and his grandchildren, Matthew Kilgore (Dana), Bethany Hastings (Aaron), Megan Shrum, Jacob Shrum, Adalee Shrum and Peyton McKinney. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
