We are sad to announce that on February 6, 2025, at the age of 68, Bill Melton of Tracy City, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, C. D. Melton and Jessie Pauline Parson Melton; his wife Darlene Kay Childress Melton; his children, Dawn Marie Melton and Billy Edward Melton; his brother Dave Melton; his mother-in-law Gloria Woodlee; and his brother-in-law Ronald Hughes Sr..
He is survived by: his daughter Misty May Melton; his grandchildren, Michael Bradley Melton and Liberty Darlene Marie Melton; his siblings, Tom Melton (Janie), Henry Melton (Karen), Wayne Melton (Lisseth Stewart) and Virginia Melton Hughes; and his siblings-in-law, Doug Woodlee (Sandy), Ronnie Childers, Donnie Childers, Sue Childers and Sue Melton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Cumberland Funeral Home, Inc. (96 Clair St, Tracy City, TN 37387). A memorial service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
