She was predeceased by: her parents, James Frederick "Fritz" Scharer and Joyce Nina Scharer (Cagle). She is survived by: her children, Sam Jacobs (Renee) and Raelessa Porter (Joey); her grandchildren, Madisen, Avin, Quinn Porter and Cassidi Jones; her great grandchildren, Clay Wayne and Charlotte Nolen; her siblings, Linda Mankin and Eddie Scharer (Rhonda); and her nieces and nephews, Angie White (Jeff), Schelby Blair (Jared), Dylan Scharer (Taylor), Jim, Tim Jacobs (Sallie), Andrew White and Maggie Parmley (Taylor).
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar Williams Funeral Home & Crematory - Columbia (2517 Trotwood Ave, Columbia, TN 38401). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
