It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benny Carrick of Tracy City, Tennessee, who passed away on October 30, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Baxter Carrick and Hessie Frederick Carrick; his wife Phyllis Jean Carrick; his siblings, Glen Carrick, John Carrick, Grace Nunley, Lorene Shrum, Sallie Chastain and Juanita Lewis; and his grandson David "Boo" Horton.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Shrum (John), Mark Carrick (Amanda) and Luke Carrick; his grandchildren, Tiffany (Sam), Jake (Brandy), Aidan, Joseph (Keeley) and Tyler (Kelsey); and his great grandchildren, Khloe, Hannah, Jaxon, Porter, Waylon, Ava and Brantley.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cumberland Funeral Home, Inc. (96 Clair St, Tracy City, TN 37387). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
