She was predeceased by: her parents, James Mooney and Josephine Mooney (Dove); her husband Carl Anthony "Burnice" Myers; and her siblings, Joe, Lewis Mooney and Dorothy Worley.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Shawnta Bowman, Michelle Burrows, Shea Eymard, Johnny Hutchison, Kisha Meek and Alexandra Davis; and her brother Charles Mooney.
