It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audrey Darlene Whittington of Townsend, Tennessee, who passed away on August 15, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Audrey Scoggin (Watkins) and James T. Scoggin; her sons, Sammy Whittington and Jimmy Whittington; and her grandson Nicholas Whittington.
She is survived by: her husband Sam Whittington; her sons, Kent Whittington (Tracy) and Bentley Whittington; her grandchildren, Will Freeman, Mary Margaret Freeman, Catherine Freeman, Samuel Whittington, Victoria Whittington, Kristina Kirk and Claire McCraw; her great grandchild Cameron Whittington; and her daughter-in-law Shelley Whittington.
