He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Franklin and Frances Oliver Haynie; his wife Hazel Haynie; and his brother Ricky Adams. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Bradshaw (Clarence) of Mayfield, KY, Tabitha Woodward (Billy) of Henderson, Regina Haynie of Jackson, Tammy L. Bell of Paris, Elizabeth A. Brooker (Joseph) of Union City, Jason Haynie (Kathy) of Toone and William David Faulkner of Rives; and his brother David Webb (Emily) of McKenzie. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Burress Chapel Church of Christ (2265 Wynnburg Bluebank Rd, Tiptonville, TN 38079). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the Lake Memorial Gardens.
