He was predeceased by: his parents, Maleita Everett Smith and Edward Coleman Lindamood; and his siblings, Ann Twyford, George Wynn Smith, Jr., Edward Lindamood and Buddy Lindamood.
He is survived by: his stepfather George Wynn Smith; his wife Helen Fumbanks Lindamood of Tiptonville, TN; his children, William E. Lindamood, Jr. (Teri Curvo) of Memphis, TN, Benjamin L. Lindamood (Joyce) of Nashville, TN, John F. Lindamood (Cherry) of Tiptonville, TN and Kathryn Clegg (Chris) of Dyersburg, TN; his sister Mary Lynn Martin of Mississippi; and his grandchildren, Mary Watson, John Edward Lindamood, Ginny Campbell, John Michael Lindamood, Maleita Lindamood and Daniel Clegg. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Crossett - Lindamood Pay-It-Forward Scholarship Endowment at the University of Tennessee at Martin.
