He was predeceased by: his father Charles Franklin Dean; his sister Sheila Dean; and his niece Judy Ann Griffin. He is survived by: his mother Betty June Dean (Ward); and his siblings, Richard Dean, Ronnie Dean of Samburg, Charles Dean of Hornbeak, Barbara Eddlemon of Samburg, Doris Puente of Union City, Nancy Reeves of Humboldt and Myrtle Blakley of Samburg. He is also survived by three nieces, seven nephews; several great nieces and great nephews.
