She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Seiber and Bobbie Ann McClain Seiber; her husband W. T. "Ed" Patterson; her daughter Caren Patterson; and her siblings, Monroe Seiber, John Seiber, Kenneth Seiber, Leroy Seiber, Lawton Seiber and Jeanna Seiber.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Nugent (Stevie) of Tiptonville, TN, Kathy Workman (Randy) of Union City, TN, Ronald Patterson (Linda) of Tiptonville, TN and Roy Patterson (Sheila) of Ridgely, TN; and her siblings, Margaret Mills of Florida, Pearl Burto of Florida, Etheal Boyd of Newbern, TN, Springer Seiber of Hohenwald, TN and Les Seiber of Dyersburg, TN. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
