She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Barker and Lois Sanford Barker; her daughter Sherry Tipps; and her siblings, Kay Robbins, Dorothy Davis and Billy Jo Barker.
She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Tipps of Dyersburg, Chris Tipps of Waynesboro and Rodney Tipps (Cynthia) of Ridgely, Tennessee; her stepdaughter Jessica Butler (Darrell) of South Fulton, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Alex Griffin, Derek Tipps, Parker Tipps, Kileyan Tipps and Alexes Butler; and also Jimmy Ray Fitz of Tiptonville, Tennessee. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 3:15 PM at the Johnson-Williams Funeral Home (239 E Main St, Newbern, TN 38059). A graveside service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Fairview Cemetery - Newbern (416 Jefferson St, Newbern, TN 38059).
