He was predeceased by: his father George Allen; and his close friend Tammi Sherd. He is survived by: his mother Mary J. Radkiewicz Allen of Tiptonville, TN; his son Jimmy Allen of Fox Lake, IL; his sister Mary "Sissy" Allen of Tiptonville, TN; and his nephews, B. J. Badalamenti, Tony Badalamenti, Andy Badalamenti and Brian McCloskey.
