Alan Emil Bjerstedt Obituary

Alan Emil Bjerstedt, 86, of Tiptonville, Tennessee passed away at his home on February 25, 2024. He was born on December 20, 1937 in La Crosse, Wisconsin to Emil and Frances (Webster) Bjerstedt. Alan attended the First Methodist Church. He was the owner/operator of Bucks Bunkhouse. He was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, and loved his dogs especially Collies.

Alan was an active member of the American Legion Post #174 and the Ridgely Senior Center. He had a generous and caring heart and gave freely to anyone crossing his path with a story. If they needed help, he was always there.

Survivors include; two sons: Alan Thomas Bjerstedt of Tiptonville, Tennessee and Todd Alan Bjerstedt (Irene) of Phoenix, Arizona; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by; his wife: Irma Louella Bjerstedt; his parents: Emil and Frances (Webster) Bjerstedt; one brother: Bruce Bjerstedt; and two sisters: Audrey Cozy and Beth Thompson.

The family has requested private arrangements under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
