He was predeceased by: his parents, Odessa Payne Sr. of Tipton County, Tennessee. and Paul Payne; and his siblings, James Edward Payne (Sonny Man), Eunestine Cobb and Gloria Johnson.
He is survived by: his daughter Chante Bodley; his grandson Caiden Berry; his siblings, Lee Ella Stepney, Lorine Payne, Paul Payne (Mildred), Carl Payne Sr. (Joyce), Patricia Harper, Chante, Edrick and Chaicora Bodley of Boston, MA; and also, Edrick and Chicora. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 1 great grand daughter and a host nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
