She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Roark and Ada Roark (Saylor); and her husband Aaron Simpson. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Aaronie Jean Simpson Bailey (Woody) and Daniel Rolland Simpson, Sr. (Dana); her great grandchildren, Danielle Michelle Asbury (Zach), Darren Ray Simpson, Dena Faith Simpson, Daniel Rolland Simpson, Jr. (Hannah) and Daniella Rollanda Simpson; and her siblings, Matt Roark, Willie B. Roark, Everette Roark, Stellar Roark, C. L. Roark, Catherine Warren, Mildred Altiere and Anna Lee Blevins. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
