She was predeceased by: her husband Homer Lee Hayes; her son Ronny Dwayne Hayes; her parents, Tilmon Kelley and Dovie West Kelley; her stepmother Gertie Kelley; her siblings, Rueben, Norma Jean Whitt and Eliza Jane Patterson; and also, Billie Dean, Ansel Kelley and Luther Kelley.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth Ann Atkins (Elvin), Gary Hayes (Marsha), Coy Hayes (Elaine) and Bobby Hayes (Lisa); her grandchildren, Debbie Atkins, Tammy Spoon (Tim), Nicky Hayes, Michelle Carpenter (Mike), Jamie Hayes (Misty), Travis Hayes and Rhonda Johnson; and her sisters, Pauline Dixon, Beverly Derringer Devoted Neighbors, Steve Johnson and Pauletta Harville. She is also survived by Eight Great Grandchildren and one great- great Grandchild.
