He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel P. Reed and Mamie Hall Reed. He is survived by: his wife Melvinia Qualls Reed of Thompsons Station, TN; his children, Sterling Larry Reed of Springfield, TN and Linda Ann Reed of Chapmansboro, TN; his stepchildren, Darlene Parks of Spring Hill, TN, Debbie Cates (Bobby) of Columbia, TN, Diane Hodge (Terry) of Columbia, TN and Donnie Beasley (Betty) of Spring Hill, TN; and his siblings, Jimmy Wayne Reed (Brenda) of Fairview, TN, Clara Mae Nuss of Southport, NC and Hazel Joyce King of Nashville, TN. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren and many loving nieces & nephews.
