He was predeceased by: his parents, James Alexander and Ella Mae Smith Porter. He is survived by: his wife Katrean W. Porter; his children, James "Eric" Porter (Denise) and Renee Porter (Ramiro); his sister Martha Ann Irwin; his grandchildren, Dean, Paige, Katie Porter and Kyle Porter; and his great grandchildren, James Hayes Porter and Parker Grace Porter.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Williamson Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service (3009 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
