He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Daniel and Louise Bagsby Jackson; his son-in-law Brian Sanders; and his siblings, Curtis Jackson and Charlotte House.

He is survived by: his wife Cherry Jackson; his daughter Sherry Sanders; his granddaughters, Katy Carrier (Brad) and Emily Boucher (Gunner); his great grandchild Brian Reed Carrier; his siblings, Dan Jackson (Joann), Murray Jackson, Charlie Jackson (Judy), Mike Jackson and Mary Jo Haley; his sisters-in-law, Linda Jackson and Robbie Dawson; and his pet Honey.

Memorials may be made to Walker Baptist Church.
