He was predeceased by: his stepparent Jerry Herschel Gasaway "Poppy"; and his father Durell D. Loftin. He is survived by: his mother Judith Born Gasaway of Griffin, GA.; his wife Carla Loftin of Thompsons Station; his children, Jordan Loftin (Abigail Lott) of Columbia and Savannah Loftin of Thompsons Station; and his brothers, David "Nose" Loftin (Sandy) of McDonough, GA and Dennis "Skeet" Loftin (Monica) of Monticello, GA..
