She is survived by: her children, Walter Patrick Mitchell (Detta), Norma Jean Howell, Vernual D. Mitchell (Jackie) and Ernest L. Mitchell (Kathy); and her grandchildren, Angela Keeler (Chip), Melodie Swanson (Kevin), Kristy Veliz (Leo), Bryan Mitchell (Jenny), Shannon Mitchell (Teresa), Jonathan Ray Mitchell (Mandy), Tad Howell (Donna), Christopher Mitchell (Jennifer) and Heather Mitchell. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
