With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Hopkins Bailey of Ten Mile, Tennessee, born in Strawberry Plains, Tennessee, who passed away on October 12, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Kimberly Bailey Wheeler; his parents, Lonas Edgar and Edna Cox Bailey; and his siblings, Jean Bailey Neil, Bill Harned and Lonas Edgar "Ed" Bailey, Jr..
He is survived by: his brother Catcher; his children, Tammy Bailey Bowlin (Terry) of Tazewell and Michael Thomas Bailey (Kim) of Knoxville; his stepson Kevin Marshall (Cristi) of Knoxville; his grandchildren, Dalton Coffey, Cody Coffey, Wesley Wheeler, Katie Bailey Maners, McKenzie Bailey Kretowski and Caroline Bailey; his great grandchildren, Walker Owen Maners, Wyatt Hopkins Maners, Brynlee Jo Coffey, Raegan Leann Coffey and Kretowski; and his stepgrandson Liam Marshall.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Luminary United Methodist Church.
