He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Edgemon and Tate Baldwin Edgemon; his wife Nell Reed Edgemon; and his sisters, Georgianna Kelsey and Bernice Keylon.

He is survived by: his sons, David (Stacy), Doug and Tommy Edgemon (Kimberly); his brother Randy Edgemon; and his grandchildren, Erin, Kenny, Christopher and Kirsten. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
