With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rita Mae Morgan of Tellico Plains, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 22, 2024 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rita Mae Morgan to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Columbus Howard Wright and Bonita Wright Queen; and her granddaughter Kayla Michelle Watson. She is survived by: her husband James Morgan; her children, Kenneth Morgan and Veronica; her son-in-law Tim Henry; her sons, Osborn (Michelle Morgan), Wesley Morgan, Watty Eugene Morgan and Christopher Shane Beck Morgan; her grandchildren, Sandy Walker, Jager Locklear, Victoria Henry, Hannah Henry, Jaden Dallas Driver, Colton Riley Driver, Addalyn Elizabeth Driver, Lilith Eubanks, Alexis Eubanks and Analynn Eubanks; her great grandchild Izabella Locklear; her siblings, Jureitta Kay (David Watson), Teresa Ann (Bob Walker) and William Howard Wright; and her siblings-in-law, Thad Morgan, Larry Morgan, Bobby, Sue Morgan, Scottie Morgan, Eldon, B. W. Ledford, Wanda and Cecil Self. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Biereley-Hale Funeral Home (4650 US-411, Madisonville, TN 37354). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Eleazar Cemetery.
