He was predeceased by: his wife Earnestine Hamilton; his daughter Pamela Hamilton McJunkin; his parents, Ned Hamilton and Martha Hamilton; and his siblings, Delade Hamilton, Martha Salley and Mary Thomas.
He is survived by: his brother Robert; his sister-in-law Shirley Hamilton; his children, Martha Miller, Paul (Patricia Hamilton), Noah Hamilton (Becky Upton), Kevin (Gayle Hamilton) and Angela (Dale Hollenbeck); his grandchildren, Jeremy McJunkin (Beth), D. J. Cooper (Brian), Nikki Miller (Corey), Megan Hamilton (Danielle Hamilton), Dustin (Josh Hollenbeck) and Chantelle Hollenbeck-Moon (Julann Faris); and his great grandchildren, Elijah Cooper, Tomas Baker, Mia and Ryleigh Hamilton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins.
