He was predeceased by: his stepfather Bobby Moses; his siblings, Mary Sewell and Bobby Moses II; his grandparents, Washie, Liddie Davis, Howard and Gertie Roberts; his brothers-in-law, Jeff Pilkey and Jamie Orr; and his cousin Billy Joe Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Missy Roberts; his sons, Michael and Brian Roberts; his stepson Chase Gourley; his daughters, Sandy and Cynthia Roberts; his mother Judy Moses; his siblings, Patricia Pilkey, Genella (Jeff Weeden), Lisa (Jimmy Hill), Norma Orr, Jennifer Roberts Trammell, Janice Burgess, Delores Roberts, Donna Roberts, Mark (Tonya Roberts), Jeff (Linda Moses), Gene (Brenda Moses), James Moses, Jason Roberts and Johnny Roberts; and his grandchildren, Michael Roberts III, Gracie Easterling, Kasara Bryson, Jacob Roberts, Wynter Hooper, Katryna Roberts, Matt and Amber Clayton.
