He was predeceased by: his mother Margie Elizabeth Williams Jones; his sister Susan Quinn Brooks; his grandson Timothy Hamby; and his nephew Matthew Barrett, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Heather, Jason Hamby and Joshua Hicks; his siblings, Steve Hicks, Adam (Selena Williams), Angela (Matthew Barrett) and Tom (Pat Quinn); his fiancée Jessica Jenkins; his grandchildren, Patrick Mitchell (Courtney Almond), Elijah Hicks, Tanner Hamby, Jacelynn "Little Lady" Hamby, Haley Gibson and Tyler Hamby; his great grandchildren, Leelynd, Emberlynd Gibson, Jaxon and Michelle Hamby; and his close friend Thomas Powers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and friends.
