He is survived by: his children, Justin Kirkland and Heather Godley; his grandchildren, Abby, Marshall Roark, Chloe, Jaxon and Jayden Kirkland; his mother Geraldean Kirkland; his siblings, Linda Massingale, Karen Brown, Tina Abernathy Ivens, Krystal Rhinehart, Timothy and Richard Kirkland; his niece Kristi Abernathy (Terrence Standridge); and his sister-in-law Susan Kirkland.
