He was predeceased by: his wife Bernice Shephard Peels; his son Billy Peels; his grandson Joshua Chrisman; and his son-in-law Donald Rice. He is survived by: his children, Elaine Rice, Cleveland, Linda (Wes Chrisman), Coker Creek, James Peels (Dee Miller), Chattanooga, Donnie (Becky Peels) and Roger (Teresa Peels); his grandchildren, Jason Peels, Holly Franklin, Kristen Calhoun, Codie Taylor, Christopher Peels, Michael Peels, Morgan Peels, Brian Chrisman and Jacob Peels; and his great grandchildren, Tanner Peels, Elizabeth Calhoun and Taylie Peels. He is also survived by Several nieces & nephews.
