He is survived by: his wife Jackie Cox Bivens; his children, Scottie, Tammie Bivens, Malchiah, Jessica Bivens, Angel and James Mitchell; his grandchildren, Dawson, Sarah Mitchell, Peyton Mitchell, Jeremiah Bivens and Katelyn Bivens; his great grandchildren, Landon Mitchell and Ashton Mitchell; his siblings, Verlene (Terry Hollingshead), Sharon (Doug Ledford) and Carlos; his sister-in-law Florence Bivens; and his great-nephew Dalton Thomas. He is also survived by Several other nieces, nephews.
