She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Leach and Goldie Mae Combs Leach; her son Tony Ray Canter; and her siblings, Bill Leach, Thomas Leach and Janice Lunsford.
She is survived by: her husband Harvey H. Canter; her sons, Westley Canter (Julie) of Jonesborough and Phillip Canter (Rachel) of Sevierville; her siblings, Brenda Kay Canter (Larry) of Johnson City and Terry Dean Leach of Johnson City; and her grandchildren, Manuella Wallin, Harvey Wayne Canter, Deborah Canter, Westley Canter Jr. and Mercedes Canter. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to help with the funeral expenses.
