He was predeceased by: his parents, John Frank Simms and Iris Wilson Simms; and his brother Tony Simms. He is survived by: his wife Sara Tuggle; his children, Timothy Sean Simms (Emily) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Jesse Eastep of Telford and Daraka Ramsey (Bruce) of Telford; his siblings, Joe Simms (Samantha) of Jonesborough and Gina Loveless of Elizabethton; and his grandchildren, Harper Simms, Charlotte Simms, Haven Eastep, Bralyn Eastep, Hunter Draper, Ayden Draper and Travis Ramsey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
