She was predeceased by: her parents, George S. Short and Ruby Lourine Short; and her brothers, Henry Short and James Short. She is survived by: her husband Tip Maples; her son David (Tami Maples); her grandchildren, Blake Maples and Davee'Michelle Leabow; her great grandchildren, Dominick Widner, Eli Widner, Hailey Widner and Shane Leabow; and her niece Eva Maples Bowling. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
