He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Sam Coffey and Ellen Coffey; and his siblings, Jack, Bill, Nelson, Peggy, Joe and Ray Dean.
He is survived by: his wife Edith Coffey; his children, Scott Coffey (Linda Jo), Penny Jennings (Tony) and Benny Coffey (Michele); his grandchildren, Alisha, Whitney, Anthony, Blaine, Olivia and RaeEllen; his great grandchildren, Sam, Walter, Andy, Braven and Claire; and his sister-in-law Linda Coffey.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Coffey Funeral Home (937 N Broad St, New Tazewell, TN 37825). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel (937 N Broad St, New Tazewell, TN 37825).
