She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Mae Minton Gilbert and Rev. Dewey William Gilbert; her siblings, Henrietta Brooks (Jack), Marine Gilbert, Audrey Mason (Clyde), James, Carson, Dewey Jr. (Wanda) and Hollis Gilbert (Mary); and her brother-in-law Jack Brooks.

She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Linda Walker (Bob), Pam Pressnell (Larry), Jackie Magee (Don), Kim Mason, Susan Evans (Randy), Andrea Gilbert-Massengill (Jerry), Alan Gilbert (Janet), Phillip Gilbert, Scott Mason (Isobel) and Joey Gilbert (Jamie); and her siblings-in-law, Wanda, Mary Gilbert (Hollis) and Clyde Mason (Audrey).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Pauline's memory to the England Cemetery, Tazewell, Tennessee.
